Corporate Design Manual · 2026
This manual is the foundation of SLI Chemicals' visual identity. It brings together everything needed for a strong, consistent appearance and — through consistent use — secures a high level of recognition. It is not a rigid rulebook but describes the proportions, structures and flexible applications of our design.

Wordmark
The logo represents the SLI Chemicals brand. To keep it recognizable, its form and color must not be altered — no distortion, no recoloring, no effects.

A defined clear space surrounds the logo. The letter “S” of SLI Chemicals sets the minimum distance to other elements. In digital use it may be reduced.
The logo is always shown positive and in color. A black-and-white version is only allowed in exceptional cases and by agreement — e.g. when print offers no color.
On white or a very light, smooth tone (max. 50 %). No busy or dark backgrounds.

A very special service for our customers is the SLI LAB — it stands for formulation development, troubleshooting, prototype development and regulatory matters. To highlight this, it carries its own logo. Its clear space is derived from the letter “A” of SLI LAB.
Color system
Alongside logo and type, color is decisive for how SLI Chemicals is perceived. SLI Green is the primary color; a set of product-group colors organizes our ranges and a signal color marks call-outs.
Primary · Pantone 355
SLI Green is a bright signal color for surfaces, accents and the logo — not for small body text on white. Body copy always sits in Ink (black); for green text on light backgrounds use the darker Deep Green (#00631A, 7.5:1 contrast — WCAG AAA). On SLI Green use white only, never ink.
Type
Helvetica is the voice of the brand — neutral, precise, legible internationally. It reflects our scientific posture without coming across as distant.
House typeface · Helvetica & Arial
Helvetica is used in print and signage, Arial for all web applications. In body copy and headlines only the Regular, Medium and Bold weights are used. Web stack: "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif
Visual world
At SLI, images are never decoration. They show application, effect and values. Three image types accompany us across every touchpoint — Editorial, Brand Cover and Lifestyle.

Polished, staged photography for cover motifs and print heroes. Clear visual axis, one main subject, controlled lighting.

Brochure and presentation covers. Logo top right, brand color as accent, a quiet text block under the motif.

Authentic portraits in natural light. Close to usage, free of stock clichés — shows the person before the product.
Touchpoints
The building blocks in action: logo, color and type only work when carried consistently across every medium — from the ad and the trade-show booth to web and presentation.
